How to escape from duct taped hands in front

The first thing to do if someone is taping your hands together is to try to keep your elbows as close together as possible.

Once you are taped up don’t panic. Struggling will do very little but by lifting your arms up above the head and then bringing them down in one smooth movement it is possible to create a tear in the tape.

How to escape from duct taped hands behind the back

Much like the hands out the front technique, you can try to do the same behind your back.

You also get a bit more leverage with your hands behind, so it is normally possible to simply wriggle yourself free.

If you do get kidnapped remember never to give up, keep trying to work free even if it means gnawing your way to freedom.
