Duct Tape isn’t considered the king of all tapes for nothing.
Available in a variety of colors, this incredible creation is waterproof, endurable, and ideal for a number of things.
Invented to fix ducts, it was soon discovered that this isn’t the best idea.
Far from being left gathering dust however, it was popularized on the battle fields of World War 2 – and was used for almost everything else since.
There is very little it cannot do, so here are some of it’s unbelievable uses!
As the rainy season sets in, you want to make sure that all your belongings are safe. But if you’d rather not shell a bomb on waterproof supplies, just cover your existing bags, purses, and more in a good layer of duct tape and viola – it’s waterproof!
This works for shoes as well, so if you’d like some DIY monsoon supplies, you just need some colorful rolls of duct tape and a little bit of patience.
If you’re someone with a lot of time on their hands, then this could be a fun thing to do.
Considering its strong and endurable nature, duct tape is perfect for creating your very own little hammock. All you need is two wooden sticks and plenty of rolls of tape.
And the best part is that you can customize it to whatever color you like!
With some serious tailoring and craft skills along with plenty of time, you can create a stunning prom dress entirely out of this all-purpose tape.
So experiment with colors, designs, and plenty more, because with all the right cuts, you will have a prom dress to remember – and it’s inexpensive as well! But that’s not all, if you can create a prom dress, a necktie is nothing.

While we’re on the subject of innovation, what do you do when you don’t have a luggage carrier but plenty of bags to transport?
You got it right – duct tape! Being strong and durable, all you need to do is tape up all those bags on the roof of your car and you’re good to go.
But remember not to skimp out when it comes to securing all of it into place, after all, you don’t want a random bag rolling off in the middle of the road.
6. Removing Warts:
Believe it or not, that unbelievable roll of tape can actually help here. So tape up your wart for 6-7 days followed by some water and there, you have it – no more warts!
It’s durable, it’s water proof, it’s DUCT TAPE!
So create your very own glass or cup with it if you somehow end up with none lying around.
While this isn’t the best idea for a home, you never know when you might need it! Moreover, it might also be microwave safe – however, don’t count on this.
8. Flip Flops:
So your shoes broke and you have nothing to shield your feet? Just remove that wonderful roll of duct tape and make yourself a pair of emergency flip flops (or just fix your broken shoes!) See why it’s advisable to carry this tape with you wherever you go?
